Role Overview

Septimius Security Services LLC is seeking a highly professional, discreet, and reliable Security Driver & Executive Protection Officer for a dedicated Executive Protection assignment based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secure transportation and close protection support to the client during daily activities, scheduled movements, business engagements, and occasional international travel.

This position requires exceptional professionalism, sound judgement, flexibility, confidentiality, and the ability to adapt to the client’s schedule while maintaining a high level of operational readiness.

Specific details concerning the client, assignment, movements, and operational requirements will be disclosed only to shortlisted candidates during the interview and onboarding process.

Location

The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The successful candidate may also occasionally be required to accompany the client on authorised international assignments, particularly within Europe.

Employment Contract

  • One-year UAE employment contract.
  • Renewable upon mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
  • One-month probation period.
  • Expected commencement 1st of August.
  • Monthly salary of AED 19,000.

Vehicle

A dedicated vehicle will be provided by the client for all authorised work-related duties.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the vehicle’s professional presentation, operational readiness, cleanliness, and security while promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities

Secure Driving and Transportation

  • Provide safe, discreet, and professional transportation for the client.
  • Plan and assess primary and alternative routes before scheduled movements.
  • Monitor traffic, road conditions, security concerns, and potential delays.
  • Conduct routine vehicle safety and readiness checks.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, secure, and operational condition.
  • Ensure punctual arrival for all scheduled movements and appointments.
  • Apply defensive and security-driving principles at all times.
  • Maintain awareness of emergency routes, hospitals, police stations, and other relevant locations.

Executive Protection

  • Provide discreet Executive Protection support during the client’s daily activities and movements.
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness and identify potential threats or suspicious behaviour.
  • Conduct advance checks and basic risk assessments when required.
  • Support secure arrival, departure, and access arrangements.
  • Maintain an appropriate protective position without unnecessarily interfering with the client’s activities.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies, security concerns, or unexpected changes.
  • Coordinate with authorised company representatives and relevant security personnel when required.

Planning and Operational Readiness

  • Review the client’s schedule and prepare appropriately for planned movements.
  • Remain flexible and ready to respond to short-notice changes.
  • Maintain reliable communication with authorised company and client representatives.
  • Report security concerns, incidents, vehicle issues, or operational changes without delay.
  • Maintain all required licences, documents, equipment, and personal readiness.
  • Follow assignment-specific instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.

Professional Conduct and Confidentiality

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the client’s identity, movements, schedule, residence, business activities, and personal information.
  • Demonstrate exceptional discretion and professional conduct at all times.
  • Maintain a smart, presentable, and client-appropriate appearance.
  • Respect professional boundaries and the client’s privacy.
  • Refrain from sharing assignment-related information through social media or unauthorised channels.
  • Represent Septimius Security Services LLC professionally throughout the assignment.

International Travel

The client travels frequently, particularly within Europe. The successful candidate may occasionally be required to accompany the client on international assignments.

For all authorised work-related travel, the necessary arrangements and associated expenses will be fully covered, including:

  • Flight tickets.
  • Accommodation.
  • Ground transportation.

Candidates must therefore be legally and practically able to undertake international travel when required.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must possess:

  • Proven professional experience in Executive Protection, close protection, security driving, or a closely related security role.
  • Demonstrable experience transporting executives, VIPs, high-net-worth individuals, or other high-profile clients.
  • A valid driving licence acceptable for use in the UAE.
  • A safe and verifiable driving record.
  • Strong defensive-driving capabilities and excellent road awareness.
  • A recognised Executive Protection or Close Protection qualification.
  • Excellent situational awareness and personal security skills.
  • A professional command of spoken English.
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • A valid passport and the ability to undertake international travel.
  • The physical fitness and personal presentation required for a client-facing protection role.
  • Flexibility to work according to the client’s schedule and operational requirements.
  • The ability to pass all company and client vetting procedures.

Preferred Experience

The following experience or qualifications will be considered an advantage:

  • Previous experience working in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai’s road network, airports, hotels, business districts, and key locations.
  • Advanced or defensive-driving certification.
  • Previous military, police, government, diplomatic security, or specialist private-security experience.
  • Experience accompanying clients on international travel.
  • Current first-aid, trauma-care, or emergency-response certification.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Familiarity with European travel and operating environments.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives, VIPs, or high-net-worth individuals.
