We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality and safety of our equipment and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
– Supervision and Leadership:
– Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
– Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
– Maintenance Planning and Execution:
– Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
– Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
– Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and procurement of necessary supplies and parts.
– Troubleshooting and Repairs:
– Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues with equipment and facilities.
– Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs when necessary, demonstrating a strong technical aptitude.
– Compliance and Safety:
– Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
– Implement and enforce safety procedures, providing training and resources to the maintenance team.
– Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory management.
– Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
– Collaboration and Communication:
– Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
– Communicate effectively with management, providing updates on maintenance status and any significant issues.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
– Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role, with a strong background in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
– Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
– Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
– Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
– Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
